Tit for Tat

Few days back, I was having severe headache while coming from the office and Sanna as always was sitting on my lap. When he saw that I am crying he thought that my eyes are having pain.. so he started telling his dad…‘papa, mamma ko drop-eye dena hai‘ and Rojit thought that he is saying ‘ mama ko dawai dena hai’.. and he said.‘yes beta we will give dawai to mamma..‘ Sanna was not too pleased as he meant drop-eye.. so he kept repeating his sentence for 3-4 times and then finally he realized that something is missing in his statement, so then he said …’ mamma ko eye drop dena hai..“. Once we were home, sanna said, mamma you lie down and I will get the eye drop.( Few days back he had eye problem so we had given him eye drops). He got it and was there with the eye drop in his hand about to put it when Rojit said.. beta let papa do it. I just said no.. and what I see.. all of a sudden this little man has taken charge and he is holding both my hands so tightly and telling me.. ‘mamma thik ho jayega.. thik ho jayega’ and telling his da to put the eye drops.Well I think that’s called TIT FOR TAT 
I did the same thing to him when he used to refuse the eye drops.
My little baby is grown up now and understands things. He knows exactly when I am upset and when I am happy and how to make me feel good…. He is such a darling. Rojit has gone to London again for business trip and sanna says that ‘papa has gone to I’m Loving it, that’s McDonalds for him. He loves to goto McDonalds and eat chicken burger and ice cream. One day at 11 pm he started crying saying that he wants to go to ‘I’m loving it’ and since he is so ziddi ( his dad says.. pura apni maa pe gaya hai..;)), we took him to McDonalds,it is just 5 minutes drive from our place in Koregaon Park, got his burger packed so that we can make him eat in the car only.. and this boy he just took that tomato ketchup packet, got it opened from me, had it and he is not ready to eat the burger. That was his dinner… so finally Rojit said.. beta if I knew that you were going to eat only this, I would have given you the whole bottle at home instead of wasting the petrol… And I smiled to him… see that’s why they are called KIDS.
I am happy that Rojit will be back on 14th Feb. He wanted to come back early but could not get the tickets. And in London, he is now staying in the same room in the same hotel where I stayed I wish we could have gone together someday.Sanna feels why everyone in the family keeps going to London. So if we are late from office, he will ask his grandma ‘ nani, mamma-papa london gaya??’
