Urjit Sorokhaibam

Last sunday ie on 17th June, we had been to Shirdi to offer prayers to Shirdi Sai Baba. It was my second trip and first one for Urjit, Rojit and Amarjit ( my brother-in-law).. yes they are all jit . It took us almost 5 hours to reach Shirdi and Urjit enjoyed the long drive. He was very happy as he got a new mobile(Amarjit’s) to play with as his kaka(uncle) arrived from manipur on 16th evening only. So Urjit was very happy. On our way to Shirdi, we saw one huge river and I suggested.. that we should stop while coming back. Urjit was quick to ask me ..”Mamma, we will swim in the river?” I said.”No” and then he replied instantly..”Ok I know, you want to click snaps”. Rojit said..”Like mother, like son”. These days he loves to pose for me and makes faces when I click his snaps. After our prayer, we went to Hotel Sun and Sand( the only 5 star hotel in Shirdi, and they truly meant as the service was also like that only.. very poor) to have our lunch. Urjit did enjoy a lot playing in the garden and giving me pose for the snaps. Here is one snap clicked over there. More snaps will be added in the gallery soon.

And this friday, I was not well. I was having viral fever. I was in the bedroom and shivering when Urjit came in and after seeing me like that, he was almost in tears. He kept asking me.. mamma what happened… you got hurt.. your leg is paining.. your eyes are paining( these are all the problems which he has already gone through:)).. I told him that I am feeling very cold and I need medicine and I asked him to call his dad. Rojit was busy watching TV in the other room and Sanna knew that.. if he tells him.. mamma is calling you, he will not respond fast.. so he ran upto him and I could hear him say.. “papa.. go, mamma wants to love you” and he kept repeating that till Rojit finally got up and came in the bedroom and when Rojit left to buy medicines for me.. Sanna was there sitting next to me, trying to make me feel good, got all the shawls he could find in the cupboard, covered me with the same.. and he is giving me massage on my forehead.. and all the while.. he himself was sweating as I had switched off the AC as well as the fan. He needs AC at night as his body is very warm.. and during summer time, he has nose bleeding problem quite often. When I told him that he is sweating.. he was like “it’s Ok mamma”. So finally after much persuation that I will be allright, he can go in the other room and sleep under the fan, he left me and went to ther other room. He is so cute and so understanding for his age!!
