Mamma, are you OK?

I am back to Pune and changed all my plans to stay for atleast 2-3 months in US and Canada. I was missing Urjit so much, that finally me and Rojit changed our plans and I came earlier and he stayed back. Urjit was so happy to see me after a one long month, and he already had very slight fever when I reached and it just increased. He was ill for one whole week with temperature running so high and his cough not going down. I was relying on his homeopathy pills and powders but finally I had to put him on antibiotics and he became allright. He lost a kg in that one week as he was not eating properly.
He has become very very expressive now and keeps reminding me that he loves me a lot and he will keep hugging me and will give kiss so often. When I would tell him stories about our trip, he will become emotional and will ask me “Why you did not take me with you?”. I have told him that next time I will surely take him and he can meet with his friends in Vancouver.
He liked the toys I got for him from IKEA and TOYSRUS. He was so happy to see that his mamma got so many toys for him. He is expecting that his papa will also get that many toys for him. Before I came, I called him up and told him ” baby, i am coming home.” and he used to remind me, ” which home, mamma? you know i am at nani’s home.” He must have been thinking that I forgot where we left him so everytime he used to tell me “nani’s place is my home now and I am at nani’s home only”.
Nowadays he keeps a tab on me to check if I am around or not. If I am in the bathroom, he will knock the door and ask “mamma, are you ok?”. it is his way of checking that I am really in the bathroom or not. These days it is really good to keep talking to him. He can express himself very well and use good words. I am also seeing that he has learnt lot of manipuri language as well. He will not speak but if you ask him something in Manipuri, he will reply in English. Whenever I talk with my in-laws I have been instructed again and again to teach manipuri language to Urjit. I know he will pick it up. Though for now I am happy with his english, hindi, japanese, french and spanish language skills.
Today again he is having slight fever. He woke up early this morning and was telling me ” You know mamma, I saw papa in my dream” and started telling me about his dream. He is counting days for his papa’s return as I have told him that he will not goto school that day as we have to goto the airport to receive papa.
