Urjit Sorokhaibam

Just a few days back, Rojit came back from his trip. He had asked us to come to the airport. I told Urjit that his papa is coming and we will goto airport to pick up papa. So on that day , he was very excited. Before leaving home, he asked his nani and mamu..”what should I get for you nani?”, “what should I get for you mamu?”. It was very unusual of him to ask this question. I was also surprised. My mom said “ok get me a big toy” and Bob said “get me a burger”. Urjit was like “No,no burger, say something else”. And we were on our way to office and Rojit called up and he spoke with me in Manipuri that it won’t be feasible for us to come to airport so don’t come and he will come on his own. As soon as I kept the phone down, Urjit asked me “Mamma, we are not going to London?”.
I was surprised, I asked him, who is going to London?And he was like “you and me, you said no, we have to go to take papa”. And then I relaized the whole story cooking up in his mind for him if we go out of country then no matter which country it is, for him .. it is London. So he keeps telling everyone that my mom and dad are in London. So when I told him that we have to go to pick up papa, he assumed that we both are going to London and that is why, while leaving, he kept asking everyone.. what I should get.. as on his mind he is travelling to London and he should buy somthing for others when he returns. Also when he was putting his things in his backpack he kept asking me.. mamma should I put my story book, this toy also… and I was wondering why he is asking all that question.

Anyway when I realized the whole thing, I laughed myself. It is really interesting to see how these small minds are at work and how they relate things.
