Gifts from Santa

Yes, Christmas is in the air. And winter breaks, holidays, new year celebration.. will follow soon. This morning… well.. this morning was slightly different from our usual morning routines. Today being a saturday and weekly off.. Rojit and myself were a bit relaxed… And my dear cute son, as usual… every night, he will sleep in his room ( he loves his room) and in the middle of the night, he will walk into our room and then slowly he will take his favorite place between his mommy and daddy and go off to sleep. This has been his usual routine. But to my surprise today he did not turn up in the middle of the night and at around 4 in the morning, I went to his room to check out and there he was sleeping peacefully on his stomach, with both his hands under the pillow(his favorite position to sleep), so I thought of not disturbing him. So he came to our room at 6 in the morning.. which means he had a good sleep without waking up in between. After coming to our room also, he was having a sound sleep. So looking at him, Rojit suggested that we let him skip his school today.. but since we both have so much work to do for office shifting, I suggested that we drop him to school a bit late and we let him sleep till 9am and he was so happy.
Finally he was ready for school and when I was putting his tiffins (so many tiffin boxes, as we send b’fast, lunch, evening snacks, juice etc..) for his day.. I saw a note from the school.. and it was Urjit’s wish list for gifts from Santa. Yes every year.. during Christmas.. school sends us the wish list of our kids, which we buy and pack it back to school and in school, Santa will give it on his behalf ( what a way to make the kids believe that Santa is fullfilling their wishes). But we feel good as kids do love to get gifts from Santa. Well to my surprise, this year in my son’s wish list there were only 2 items.. unlike past years when it used to be 4-5 items. He had listed just two items.. a BIKE and a Jacket. Rojit and myself had a good laugh after reading BIKE as his wish list. I am not sure, if he is wishing for a real BIKE or a toy BIKE. So it is going to be tough now. Just last week he has got the a nice toy BIKE from Singapore from his Ranjeeta mausi and after playing with it for 2-3 days, it is just lying in his room.. so he would not ask for another toy BIKE. So now I have to see, if his wish list can be changed and we can send across the message to Santa before the Christmas day arrives

Correction, toy BIKE from nanu. Mausi has still not thought of what to get for dear Urjit. I am yet to hit Toy’r'us.
Ok so it was from papa. Well I did not ask also and I thought maybe you sent it.. anyway for him it is from Singapore, means from that girl..who lives in Singapore, who is married to Anand..means Ranjeeta mausi
Cute way to surprise kids with Santa’s gifts! How old is Urjit?
Romila, good to see you here. Urjit will turn 5 on 10th March 2008. Yes he loves gifts from everyone and if it is from Santa, then he is much more happier. SO his wish is Powe Rangers Jacket and Power Rangers Bike and he has also told me that it is available in Shopper’s Stop, Bem Mausi’s store
. My sister works there as Category VM.
