Urjit Singh Sorokhaibam

Sunday as usual is always special for Sanna and today it was more special as he wanted to go for the movie Air Buddies. Whenever we used to see the ad for this movie.. he used to tell me..mamma, I have to watch this movie and yesterday when I told him that bem mausi is coming to Pune and she is planning to take you for the movie, he was so excited. His favorite mausi – bem mausi. And he is really fond of Bem and keep telling that he loves Bem mausi so much. So this morning, after Sanna got up.. he was asking me to call up bem mausi and check out where she is. I asked him to drink his milk first and then we can call.

And these days he is really enjoying his milk.. with two spoonfuls of Bournvita in it. Moreover I have switched to Nestle Tetra Pak one, with so many news coming in about adulteration in packaged milk. And I am more happy because earlier Urjit used to make so much fuss about drinking milk and now he is the one reminding me everytime to give him milk. I think it has more to do with Bournvita which he simply loves.

So this morning after I opened the Bournvita, I put it in my cup filled with tea  instead of his mug and there he was .. laughing out so loud. He kept laughing for a good long time and he kept saying, mamma see what you did. And then he had to tell the story to everyone that mamma by mistake put Bournvita in her tea.  And then later on we finished our work and he was as usual busy doing his writing work.. hindi warnmala.. he says ( Good that we are also getting a chance to revise our hindi language) with him. It is really funny that we never forget A B C.. but when you are asked to write down the simple hindi alphabets, you have to think so many times . So I joined him and I asked him if he would be interested in watching nani and nanu’s Singapore video and he was very excited and there we started with the first cassette. In that my mom was there near the beach and papa must have been busy recording. Urjit was watching it.. and following his nani.. and he saw.. a few local Singapore guys and girls swimming…. so he assumed that now nani is also going to swim.. so he is asking me…mamma, nani is trying to beomce shameless or what? I was like why.. so he says.. I think nani is also going to swim and she will become shameless and then he saw that nani is went in the water without becoming shameless ( in his terms..) so he gave a smile and looked at me . His other comment while watching the video was … are there manipuri kids in singapore? I can see so many of them. I told him they look like manipuri but they are local Singapore kids only.

And in the evening he went to Inox with bem mausi and saw Air Buddies and then went to McDonalds to buy the happy meal ( just for the toy they give) and he was very happy when he returned back. Was telling me the story also.. so overall a good Sunday for Urjit.
